Alex Pope:
Worked, liaised and trained with, supported and competed against truly talented people ranging from World Junior, European Championship, Commonwealth Games and Olympic and Paralympic medallists and participants in not only athletics but other sports including amateur boxing, weight lifting, bobsleigh and skeleton. As a mathematics, physics and games teacher with over a decade of experience, I have successfully coached many sporting teams to district and county level. In athletics, I have coached County medallists and champions, County School representatives, Area/Regional champions, National and English School champions, many athletes to top 10/5/podium position in the UK and International Champions for their age in a variety of disciplines.

While I have been a lifelong member of Blackheath and Bromley Harriers, I work with/coach athletes from any club with the view of helping them in the niche that is combined events and improving their performances. I contribute to Kingston and Polytechnics Kestrel Program coaching a variety of events and with Invicta East Kent with their aspiring combined eventers.
